Our Mission
At Paws of Hope NYC, wellbeing is at the forefront of what we’re working together towards. We provide a safe haven for the abused, the neglected and the forgotten! We want to inspire the community, to create the resources, educational opportunities and allow community members to get involved in ending animal abuse and overpopulation.

At Paws Of Hope NYC, we are dedicated to raising awareness and stepping up our efforts in addressing the overpopulation in our community. This won't be easy, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
Get Involved
We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events. Because our foster homes are the backbone of Paws of Hope NYC, and to help our organization run smoothly, it is our goal to provide the best experience possible. We encourage each foster home to be as involved as they are comfortable with and allow them the freedom to foster based on their needs, restrictions, or desires.
Want to join our efforts but not sure when to start?! Volunteer YOUR time and take advantage of this incredible opportunity to lend your support! This is one of the simplest ways to help out our cause. We believe the best way for our initiatives to be successful is for the community to actively get involved. This is an easy and efficient way of contributing to the great work rescuers do!
Every adoption represents a victory in our lifesaving work. Every spay or neuter prevents many births. Every individual that you reach with your message of compassion and caring for the animals will share the message with others.
